The mission of Raphael House is to help families at risk achieve stable housing and financial independence, while strengthening family bonds.

Established in 1971, Raphael House became the first shelter in San Francisco for homeless families. Our mission is to help families at risk achieve stable housing and financial independence, while strengthening family bonds. Originally an integrated charitable activity of Christ the Saviour Brotherhood, Raphael House was incorporated as its own California nonprofit organization in 1991.
