Hierarchs and Clergy celebrating the Services of Canonization of St. Herman of Alaska

At the Vigil of canonization, Saturday night at 7 p. m., His Beatitude, Metropolitan Ireney presided with His Eminence, Archbishop Paul of Finland; His Eminence, Metropolitan Andrew of Bulgaria; their Eminences, Archbishops John of Chicago and Kiprian of Philadelphia; their Graces, Bishops Theodosius of Sitka, Joasaf of Edmonton and Dmitri of Berkeley. The hierarchs were assisted by the Reverend Protodeacons Innocent Williams and Nicholas Polyansky.



The following priests served at this Vigil: the Right Reverend Protopresbyter Alexander Schmemann; the Right Reverend Mitred Archpriest Nicholas Veiglais; the Very Reverend John Mason; the Very Reverend John Karataeff; the Very Reverend Joseph Kreta; the Reverend John Psinka; the Reverend John Sochka; the Reverend Nikita Komarnitsky; the Reverend George Glad- ky; the Reverend George Afonsky; the Reverend Ishmael Gromoff; the Reverend Michael Koblosh.



At the early Holy Liturgy, served at 7 a. m. Sunday at the grave of St. Herman in the center of the Church, His Grace, Theodosius, Bishop of Sitka presided with their Graces, Bishops Joasaf of Edmonton and Dmitri of Berkeley. The Reverend Deacon Michael Johnson assisted them.
