January-February TOC distributed

The January-February 2006 issue of “The Orthodox Church” spotlights the 75th anniversary of St. Nicholas Cathedral in Washington, D.C. along with a multitude of events and anniversaries surrounding the life of The Orthodox Church in America.

SYOSSET, NY [OCA Communications] — The January-Febuary 2006 issue of “The Orthodox Church” was mailed to all members of the Orthodox Church in America and posted in PDF format on the OCA web site at http://www.oca.org in mid-February.

With this issue, TOC is utilizing a full color, 32-page news magazine format, replacing the tabloid format in which it had appeared for the past 41 years. The new format provides an expanded number of articles and features of a general nature as well as broader selection of offerings by the OCA’s various departments. Highlighted in the January-February issue are the five mission communities receiving OCA Church Planting Grants.

All members in good standing of OCA parishes should be receiving printed copies free of charge. Members in good standing who do not receive TOC should check with their parishes to ensure that their names and addresses have been submitted to the TOC Circulation Office.
