We welcome back Fr. Lawrence Farley as he will share with us the second in the series of the Orthodox Bible study companion books, The Prison Epistles. This volume contains commentaries on the epistles that St. Paul wrote while in prison to the Philippians, Ephesians, Colossians and Philemon. This program shall be very informative for all as we explore these writings of St. Paul.

As we are drawing near to the advent season Fr. Chris and Emmy welcomes Terry Mattingly as the guest for this program. Terry will share with us that the Job for St. Nicholas is to help us achieve the true Orthodox Christian meaning of the Christmas season. Terry will elaborate on the importance of restoring the emphasis on Saint Nicholas; to give St. Nicholas his day which he so deserves in order to build up to the true celebration of the Nativity season. Terry suggests that we need to call upon and honor Saint Nicholas for the man that he was and represents as the protector for all children. Orthodox Christians are well known for their food festivals, but not so much for their food programs. However, that is changing in places like Atlanta; GA. CRTL welcomes Fr. Jacob Myers who has spearheaded the Loaves and Fishes food program in the Atlanta Metropolitan area. With the blessing of the Greek Orthodox Bishop, Metropolitan Alexios, all the Orthodox Churches of the city of Atlanta support the feeding of the poor and homeless of Atlanta through the food program at St. Johns Orthodox Church. Be sure to tune into this program as we are preparing to give thanks and learn how you too can establish a food program in your local Orthodox Community with the assistance of IOCC.
