CRESTWOOD, NY [OCA Communications]Saint Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary once again will offer a number of evening courses to the public through its popular extension program during the fall 2006 semester.

This year’s courses include “Education for Adult Witness and Service,” taught by the Rev. Mark Leondis; “Choral Conducting,” taught by Deacon Kevin Smith and Mrs. Helen Erickson; and “Mission and Evangelism: An Orthodox Perspective” taught by the Rev. Luke Veronis, visiting lecturer.

“It is wonderful to see interested persons from the tri-state area come to our campus to reflect on the faith,” said Dr. Paul Meyendorff, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs. “The extension program is an important part of the seminary’s mission to serve the Church and society through theological education.”
