St. Vladimir’s Seminary Announces Full-Time Pastoral Theology Position

CRESTWOOD, NY — Saint Vladimir’s Orthodox Theological Seminary here announces a full-time, tenure-track position in the area of pastoral theology, beginning in the fall 2005 semester.

The selected candidate will be expected to teach a full load of courses in the area of pastoral theology and homiletics, as determined by the faculty council. The normal load for full-time faculty is three courses per semester, but this can be adjusted for those assuming various administrative functions. He or she will also supervise and coordinate the field education program, including placement of students in pastoral training programs and parishes. He or she will also supervise the Doctorate of Ministry program until its termination (projected for May 2009).
