Clergy, wives invited to participate in January 27 webinar

An invitation has been extended to all clergy of the Orthodox Church in America and their wives to participate in a webinar titled “Where Do We Find Energy for All the Demands?” at 1:00 p.m. EST on Wednesday, January 27, 2016.

Hosted—at no cost to participants—by the Center for Family Care of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, the webinar is the second in a series that began in November 2015.  [See related story.]

Leading the live discussion will be Grace, Bishop John of the Diocese of Worcester and New England of the Antiochian Orthodox Christian Archdiocese of North America.

“A married priest for many years with three grown children, Bishop John was called to the episcopacy in 2011 after the repose of his beloved wife some three years prior,” said Priest Nathan Preston, Administrator of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Pastoral Life.  “Awarded diplomas and certificates from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary, Saint Vladimir’s Seminary, the Pittsburgh Pastoral Institute, and Suffolk University, Bishop John will weave together both theoretical and practical knowledge on pastoral care and the care of pastors and their families, proffering this knowledge as fruit he has reaped from his own experiences.”

Interested clergy and their wives are invited to register on-line.
