New Issue of “Wonder” Focuses on the Gospel and the Apostle Paul

Saint Paul

The newest edition of “Wonder” — the on-line journal of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry— is now available.

The issue’s theme — “The Gospel and the Apostle Paul” — focuses on the Good News of Jesus Christ proclaimed through and by Saint Paul the Apostle.

Recently-ordained Priest James Parnell shares a reflection on Spiritual Warfare in Paul’s Epistles. Deacon Jason Ketz, “Wonder” editor, reflects on his experience of Paul’s epistles at different points in his life in Growing up With(out) Paul. Dr. Tracey Gustilo tackles some of Paul’s harder sayings in her article, The Apocalyptic Prophet. This issue also features a reprint of Archpriest John Breck’s article on modern scholarship on Paul, Who “Invented” Christianity?

The theme of the September edition — “A Church in History” — will focus on a critical approach to Church history.  Deadline for submissions is August 25, 2013.

As always, readers are invited to submit articles, creative writing, artwork, poetry, photos, and videos for future installments.  Suggested topics are always welcome. Send all materials and comments to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
