STOTS annual picnic, alumni meeting, to be held September 11
Saint Tikhon’s Seminary’s annual alumni picnic and association meeting will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2014, on the seminary campus.
The day will begin with a lunch in the dining room at 12:20 p.m. At 2:00 p.m., the Alumni Association will meet. Updates will be given by His Grace, Bishop Michael, Rector, and Archpriest Dr. Steven Voytovich, Dean. Following the meeting Vespers will be celebrated in the Monastery Church of Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk, after which a picnic will be held in the seminary gymnasium. “The day will provide an opportunity to walk the grounds where saints have walked, where alumni walked with professors and fellow seminarians and friends and family,” said Father Ted. “Come home to your alma mater on September 11 to pray, share in fellowship, and enjoy the renewed spirit to tell of the great things taking place at the seminary.”
