Submit summer camp information now!
With the school year wrapping up in the weeks ahead, the Orthodox Church in America’s coast-to-coast summer camps will begin their 2016 season in June.
“We’d like to again post a complete listing of our OCA summer camps on the OCA web site,” said Andrew Boyd, OCA Youth Director. “We ask that camp directors and organizers send information to include in the listing to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) and .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) no later than Monday, May 16.”
Information sought includes the name and location of each camp; the sponsoring diocese, deanery or parish; the name[s] of the camp director[s] with contact info—phone numbers, e-mail addresses, etc.; opening and closing dates; cost; and any other specific information, including special programs and themes. Information on camp Facebook and social media sites is also welcome.
“We want to thank our camp organizers, staffs and directors for the hard work they do and the sacrifices they make on behalf of our Church and her youth,” Andrew added. “The blessings our campers receive are truly abundant!”
