Transfiguration Monastery to celebrate blessing of new facilities
His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon and His Eminence, Archbishop Nathaniel will preside at the blessing of the new facilities at the Monastery of the Transfiguration here Saturday, November 22, 2014.
A Service of Thanksgiving with the blessing of the monastery’s chapel and new additions will be celebrated at 2:00 p.m. Tours of the facilities and refreshments will follow. The day will draw to a close with the celebration of Great Vespers at 5:00 p.m.
