The October 2013 edition of “Wonder”—the on-line journal of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry—is now available.

The issue’s theme—“Church, Not Just a Sunday Thing”—focuses on the life of the Church beyond the Sunday Liturgy.

Deacon Gregory Ealy explores the richness of the Saturday evening services in his article Participating in the Resurrection. Christina Andresen reflects on the “Paraklesis” service. Brad Vien draws our attention to the depth and beauty of the weekday cycle of services. Lastly, Deacon Jason Ketz reflects on the relationship between Sunday and the Sabbath.

The theme of the November edition will be “For our Armed Forces” and will focus on Christian life and ministry in the context of our Armed Forces. Deadline for submissions is November 15.
