Special Investigating Committee continues work
The fourth meeting (2 in person, 2 via conference call) of the Special Investigating Committee was held January 24 through January 26, 2008 in Syosset, NY. Chaired by His Grace, Bishop Benjamin of San Francisco, Committee members include Archpriest John Tkachuk, Archpriest Philip Reese, Dr. Faith Skordinski, and Dr. Dmitri Solodow. Julia Azrael was recently appointed as legal counsel and Bernard Wilson serves as investigative consultant.
Six interviews were conducted at this meeting and 15 items entered as exhibits. At this time the Committee is focusing on the actions of at least 15 individuals. Additional interview sessions, review of documents, in-person meetings and conference call meetings have been scheduled into June.
