The St. Nicholas Uganda Children’s Fund provides for the education, health, and welfare of Ugandan children, teens, and young adults. We are driven by the biblical imperative to care for the least among us (Matt. 25:40) and to provide for “widows and orphans in their distress.” (James 1:27)
Now in our seventh year, we are educating more than 270 orphans and vulnerable children from impoverished neighborhoods in the capital city of Kampala. Our support is comprehensive: school fees, daily lunch, uniforms, shoes, socks, school supplies, and health care. We provide additional support to desperate families and child-headed households by assisting them with food, rent, clothing, bedding, mosquito nets, and medical expenses.
A critical component of the ministry is our personal interaction with each child. We are involved with their family and home life, offer counseling and support, and teach them life skills.
