On June 21-22, 2021, His Beatitude Metropolitan Tikhon, locum tenens of the Albanian Archdiocese, joined the Igumen Nikodhim, Chancellor of the archdiocese, along with priests and clergy of the archdiocese for a retreat. During the retreat, His Beatitude updated the archdiocesan clergy on the search process for a new diocesan bishop. He and the clergy also discussed the relaxation of COVID restrictions, as well as ways to increase vocations in archdiocese. The retreat was held at Saint Nicholas Albanian Orthodox Church in Jamaica, Queens, NY. On Tuesday, June 22, His Beatitude presided at the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, which concluded the retreat.
