Additional All-American Council info available on OCA website

Several new items of interest to participants in the forthcoming 13th All-American Council of the Orthodox Church in America are now available at http://aac.oca.org on the OCA web site.

In addition to accessing the latest Council schedule information, AAC delegates and observers may download copies of the liturgical music to be sung at the Divine Liturgies that will be celebrated during the Council.

A “Survival Guide for Orlando,” offering a wealth of information on sightseeing venues, restaurants, shopping, and other Orlando-area attractions is also featured on the site. This will be especially valuable for those intending to combine their AAC participation with a family vacation.

Finally, an article by Alexis Liberovsky, OCA Archivist, tracing the history of the elections of the Ruling hierarchs and primates of the Orthodox Church in America now appears on the site.

The All-American Council is slated to open on July 21, 2002 and will run through July 26.

The OCA web site contains over 5,000 images and 10,000 pages of information on virtually every aspect of Orthodox Christian life, doctrine, worship, and spirituality, in addition to directories of hierarchs, dioceses, parishes, and Church institutions. The site receives over 700,000 hits monthly.
