Metropolitan Theodosius to Celebrate Holy Week, Paschal Services in Nation’s Capital

His Beatitude, Metropolitan Theodosius, Archbishop of Washington, Metropolitan of All America and Canada, and Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, will celebrate Holy Week and Paschal services at Saint Nicholas Cathedral, 3500 Massachusetts Ave. NW, Washington, DC.

The schedule of services at which His Beatitude will preside is as follows:

Great and Holy Thursday, April 12:
7:00 p.m., Matins with the Reading of the Twelve Passion Gospels.

Great, Holy and Good Friday, April 13:
2:00 p.m., Vespers of Great and Holy Friday.
7:00 p.m., Matins of Great and Holy Saturday.

Great and Holy Saturday, April 14:
10:00 a.m., Vesperal Liturgy of Saint Basil the Great.
11:30 p.m., Nocturns. Holy Pascha, Sunday,

April 15:
Midnight, Paschal Matins and Divine Liturgy.
Noon, Paschal Vespers and Procession.
