Parishes invited to send in Paschal photos
— The Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Communications warmly invites all parishes to submit photos taken during their paschal services and celebrations for posting in a special section of the OCA web site at http://www.oca.org.
Please send photo attachments to .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address), together with corresponding captions. Clearly indicate the name of the parish, the names of the parish’s clergy, and other pertinent information.
The deadline for submission is Friday, May 13, 2005.
Of special interest are procession photos, pictures of parish children involved in the services, and photos depicting any special or unique local customs and traditions.
“With many parishes reporting record attendances at this year’s services, we hope to ‘share the good news’ with visitors to our web site,” said the Very Rev. John Matusiak, OCA Communications Director. “Given the vast geographic area our Church embraces, we hope to bring our parishes closer together through this special feature of our web site.”
