10th annual camp, youth worker, college chaplain conference to be held January 25-28, 2012
The 10th annual Orthodox Christian camp, youth worker, and OCF chaplain conference will be held at Antiochian Village Conference Center here January 25-28, 2012.
“In 2003, we held our first Orthodox Christian camp conference, which continued until 2009, when parish and diocesan youth workers joined the conference,” said Subdeacon Luke Beecham of the OCA Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministries. “This year, we are blessed to welcome a third track with the OCF chaplains. There is so much overlap in our ministries to young people, that it is very fitting that all three of these ministries come together for one conference.”
The tentative schedule — available at www.orthodoxcamps.org/conference.html — indicates that the program will feature three tracks. Additional schedule information with details about breakout sessions will be forthcoming.
