And You Visited Me
...and you visited Me…

The recent edition of “Wonder,” the blog of the Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministries, is now available.  This month’s theme is “And You Visited Me” and features reflections and articles on the visiting the sick and institutionalized.

Archpriest Steven Belonick, Pastor of Holy Ghost Church, Bridgeport, CT, shares the lessons he learned from decades of pastoral visits and his own illnesses in Going to Heaven, Piece by Piece. Harrison Russin, a student at Saint Vladimir’s Seminary, considers his prison ministry internship in A Life in Christ Under Guard.  In The Light in the Darkness, Inga Leonova reflects on her experience translating for parish deacons as they gave Communion to a dying woman.  Finally, Department Director Andrew Boyd offers practical tips for visiting with people in Lessons in Silence.

The theme of the October edition of Wonder, “Help My Unbelief,” will feature articles about the intersection of faith and doubt. The deadline for submissions is October 10.
