NY/NJ Diocese to host regional conferences for Church School teachers, parents

The Orthodox Church in America’s Diocese of New York and New Jersey will host three regional conferences for Church School teachers, parents and others concerned with “handing on the faith” to the “next generation.”

“It goes without saying how important our young people are to the present and future of our parishes,” said His Grace, Bishop Michael.  “In the words of Saint John Chrysostom, ‘With us everything should be secondary compared to our concern with children, and their upbringing in the instruction and teaching of the Lord.’”

Interested participants are asked to contact the following clergy in their respective deaneries for additional information and advanced registration.
