Youth Department relaunches “The Hub”—Resources for youth and campus ministries

Camp Edward

The Orthodox Church in America’s Department of Youth, Young Adult, and Campus Ministry has recently re-released “The Hub,” a comprehensive series of resources for youth ministry. Available on the OCA web site, “The Hub” features a wealth of ideas, including youth and campus ministries programs, camp ministry, study guides and sample forms.

“This unique resource was originally assembled and published about a decade ago under the supervision of Archpriest Michael Anderson and many volunteers,” said Andrew Boyd, OCA Youth Director.  “Funded by the generosity of the Fellowship of Orthodox Stewards and the Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America, ‘The Hub’ offers a comprehensive resource for anyone interested in youth ministry. We are pleased to feature it directly on the OCA web site, and we hope to keep adding to it and refining it in the coming years.”

Mr. Ryan Platte, web site Technical Manager, was responsible for importing hundreds of files from “The Hub” directly into the OCA web site.

“I had browsed the material in the past, but as I went through the process of bringing it to oca.org, I was struck by the breadth and depth of the articles here,” said Ryan.  “I have already found it useful in working with the youth in our parish.  In bringing ‘The Hub’ to oca.org, we focused on making it easy to explore and discover the 340-plus articles and other resources, spanning over 50 different sections.”

The Hub” is free and available to everyone.  Suggestions for additions or corrections may be sent to Andrew Boyd at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
