Our new site: When “delays” are a good thing!
While the Orthodox Church in America’s new web site was launched on Monday evening, June 11, 2011, by this morning — Tuesday — numerous reports that the site was extremely slow have been received.
According to the web team, this is due to the unusually high volume of hits the site has received — 20 times the anticipated number of visits, in fact, according to team member Ryan Platte.
It is anticipated that, in the coming days, the number of visitors will balance out, thereby precluding ongoing delays.
