Protection of the Virgin Mary is located in Merrillville, Indiana, 45 minutes southeast of the Chicago Loop. From I-80/94 (the Borman Expressway) travel south on I-65. Exit off I-65 on to Hwy 30 East. Turn right at Grand Blvd. There is a GasCity and an 84 Lumber at this corner. Travel south on Grand Blvd about 1/2 mile. The church is on the right side of the road.
