Parish Background

St John the Theologian Mission was “planted” in 1983 by Fr Peter Tutko.  Since 1995 it has primarily existed as the Orthodox Christian Fellowship at the University of Florida and has been meeting almost continuously since September 1995 as an evangelical outreach to the students of the University of Florida.  We are now relaunching the Parish Ministry under the leadership of Dn Theodore Brinegar.  Dn James Nicholas handles the campus ministry.
