Apostle Fortunatus of the Seventy Commemorated on January 4 Troparion & Kontakion St Fortunatus was one of the Seventy Apostles chosen and sent forth to preach by Christ (Luke 10:1). He is mentioned by St Paul (I Cor. 16:17).
