Venerable Moses, Ascetic of the Syrian Deserts

Saint Moses settled on a high mountain near the village of Rama. He was a disciple of St Polychronius. Emulating his Elder in everything, St Moses was the very model of austere ascetical life.

St Moses died in Syria in the fifth century.
