Martyr Theophilus of Ammoria in Phrygia Commemorated on March 6 Troparion & Kontakion Saint Theophilus was one of the 42 Christians martyred for Christ at Ammoria in Asia Minor around 845. St Theophilus is described as “wondrous” in the service composed for them.
