Printer issues letter explaining St. Tikhon’s Seminary Appeal error
The Marsid-M&M Group, the company responsible for printing and mailing the recent St. Tikhon’s Seminary Appeal, has issued a letter explaining their error in the mailing’s production.
“In the course of completing this work, we inadvertently used the incorrect appeal envelopes in the mailing,” writes The Marsid-M&M Group President, Sid Halpern. “Instead of using the appropriate St. Tikhons’ Seminary Appeal envelopes, we used the envelopes for the Orthodox Church in America’s FOS Appeal that had been sent out several weeks earlier.”
Mr. Halpern continued to say that “in recent years, our firm has worked with the Orthodox Church in America on several appeal initiatives. This is the first time that such an error on our part has occurred. Hence, we, The Marsid-M&M Group, wish to apologize for any confusion or inconvenience that our error has caused.”
In response, The Marsid-M&M Group will be reprinting and mailing the St. Tikhon’s Seminary Appeal using the correct envelopes. Addressees should be receiving the new mailing shortly.
