RBR was founded in 1979 to provide religious books for Orthodox Christians in the Soviet Union. Since it is now possible to publish and distribute religious literature in Russia, RBR assists with the publication in Russia of the best contemporary Orthodox theological and educational materials. Books are distributed, free of charge, throughout Russia from RBR’s storage place in Moscow. All contributions are tax-deductible.
