Visitation for Matushka Sylvia Hampton Clark, 70, will begin at Saint Justin Martyr Church, 12460 Old St. Augustine Rd., Jacksonville, FL at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, March 17, 2015. The Trisagion will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m., followed by a reception. Visitation will resume at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, March 18, with the celebration of the Funeral service at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in the parish cemetery. A luncheon will follow.
The wife of Priest Sergius Clark, who in retirement is attached to Saint Justin Martyr Church, Matushka Sylvia fell alseep in the Lord on Saturday evening, March 14.
Born to Earl and Ruth Hampton in Asheville, NC on September 20, 1944, she had been received into the Orthodox Church in 1996.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Matushka Sylvia’s memory to the building funds of Saint Justin Martyr Church or Annunciation Church.
