Matushka Tatiana-Marilyn Peterson fell asleep in the Lord on Monday, January 13, 2025 at the age of 65. Matushka Tatiana-Marilyn was born on January 8, 1960, in Bucharest, Romania to Gheorghe and Maria Margineanu. At age 20 she married her husband Archpriest Gregory Peterson, Ph.D. They lived in Romania for 10 years before moving to the United States.
Matushka Tatiana received a Bachelor of Computer Science (BCS) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) and became a technical writer and a business analyst for General Motors and Boeing Corporation.
Father Gregory pastored the Parish of Holy Trinity Orthodox Church (OCA) in Charleroi, PA for the past 23 years. However, after serving the church for a total of 44 years Father Gregory and Matushka Tatiana retired and moved to Corpus Christi, TX to be closer to their children and to live in a warmer climate. With the blessing of His Eminence Metropolitan Constantine of Denver, Father Gregory has been an attached priest to the altar of Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, where he and Matushka Tatiana have been members since January 2024.
Matushka Tatiana is survived by her husband, Father Gregory, and their sons Ciprian and Paul.
Instead of flowers, a donation to St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church can be made in her memory.
