Milos Konjevich, a well-known layman and former long time treasurer of the Diocese of the South, fell asleep in the Lord on the feast of the Meeting of the Lord, Sunday, February 2nd, 2020 in Dallas, TX.
Milos served for many years as the Treasurer of the Diocese of the South, working side by side, with His Eminence, the late Archbishop Dmitri to establish missions, build churches, and support priests. Under his leadership the Cathedral of Saint Seraphim was built and the icons painted. Milos served the Orthodox Church in America in a variety of capacities, most notably as a member of the Pension Board from 1993-2002 and as a member of the Investment Board 2003-2006. For his dedicated service to the Orthodox Church in America, Milos was awarded the Order of Saint Innocent in 2001.
Milos Konjevich is survived by his wife Bonnie (Mary) Konjevich, and his two children, Tamara and Nicholas Konjevich.
His funeral will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Wednesday morning, February 5th, at Saint Seraphim Cathedral in Dallas, TX. He will be buried at 12:30 PM at the Orthodox Garden at Restland Memorial Park in Dallas, TX on Wednesday afternoon, February 5th.
