Funeral service for Mrs. Elizabeth Hockin, 87, mother of Mrs. Bette Kondratick, Administrator of the OCA pension plan and wife of Protopresbyter Robert Kondratick, OCA Chancellor, will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Friday morning, February 13, 2004, at Saint Michael the Archangel Church, Walnut and Hudson Streets, Jermyn, PA.
Mrs. Hockin passed away on Monday, February 9 at the Woodlands Nursing Home, Waymart, PA after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Hockin will lie in state at Saint Michael Church on Thursday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., February 12, with a parastas service scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
In addition to Mrs. Kondratick, Mrs. Hockin is survived by a second daughter, Rebecca Hanchack, Laurel, MD and a son, John Hockin, of Jermyn, PA. She is also survived by six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Mrs. Hockin’s memory may be made to the Fellowship of Orthodox Stewards [FOS], PO Box 675, Syosset, NY 11791.
