Great Vespers at a Vigil:
At a great feast: the troparion of the feast thrice.
At vigil for the resurrection, with a saint up to polyeleos rank: “Rejoice, Virgin Theotokos” is sung thrice.
At vigil for the resurrection, with a saint of vigil rank, “Rejoice, Virgin Theotokos” twice, and the troparion of the saint once.
Great Vespers not at a Vigil:
At a great feast, the troparion is sung once only.
Resurrection with saint of any rank: resurrection troparion; glory: saint; now: resurrectional theotokion in same tone as the saint.
Daily Vespers:
With 1 or 2 lesser saints: Troparion of the 1st saint; glory: troparion of 2nd saint (if there is one); now: theotokion or stavrotheotokion.
