15th All-American Council reports available online
SYOSSET, NY [OCA Communications]—Reports for the 15th All-American Council of the Orthodox Churc in America are now available on the OCA.org web site.
“The documentation now posted on the web site includes reports from the Chancellor, the Secretary, the Treasurer, and the Director of Ministries and Communications,” said OCA Secretary, Archpriest Eric G. Tosi. “Delegates will also find a financial report that contains complete 2007 and partial 2008 financial statements for the OCA and for its stavropegial institutions.”
Other material included are reports from each OCA ministry department, St. Vladimir’s and St. Tikhon’s seminaries, stavropegial monasteries, St. Catherine’s Representation Church in Moscow, and the report from the Pension Board.
“Hard copies of the reports are also being sent out by mail to OCA parishes and institutions,” Fr. Eric said. Each package contains two copies of the reports, one for the clergy delegate and one for the lay delegate. If a parish has more delegates, they will need to make as many extra copies as necessary. When delegates register at the Council they will be provided with a binder with dividers to organize the reports.
“We are also informing delegates that they must bring their copies of the reports with them to the Council,” Fr. Eric noted. “In an effort to keep Council expenses down we have printed only a very limited number of extra copies. Delegates will not be receiving a second full set of reports at the Council.”
All-American Council reports may be found on the 15th All-American Council web page.
