Chancery undergoing major computer system conversion - updated
During the week of June 17, 2007, a
major computer system conversion was initiated at the Chancery of the
Orthodox Church in America here.
As a result of the conversion, recurring technology infrastructure costs
will be reduced while systems performance will be greatly enhanced and
improved.
As a result of the complex conversion process, which has yet to be fully
completed, certain sections of the OCA web site failed to convert correctly
and are not functioning at this time. These include the ability to post recent photograph
galleries. Other areas, such as the Parish and Clergy Directories, are now functional. It is anticipated that, with the completion of the conversion,
these sections will be fully restored within a few days.
Once the full conversion has been completed, an announcement will be posted
on the OCA home page at http://www.oca.org.
