Final preparations under way for All-American Council
The Preconciliar Commission, charged with making preparations for the 15th All-American Council of the Orthodox Church in America that will convene in Pittsburgh, PA, November 10 to 13, 2008, met at the OCA Chancery on Monday, October 20, 2008.
In making final preparations for the Council, the Preconciliar Commission issued the following important announcements.
- Special room rate no longer available at hotels The special convention rates at the Pittsburgh Hilton and the Renaissance Hotel are now closed. Bookings made at these hotels now will be at the regular room rates.
- Reminder to submit meal choices Council participants are reminded to submit their menu choices for the formal dinner on Wednesday evening, November 12, by Friday, October 24. Any participants still requiring a meal preference form may download one in PDF format here.
The 15th All-American Council Delegate Handbook and Council reports, including the financial report, may be found on the OCA.org web site.
