Molieben for Newly Elected OCA Metropolitan served at St. Catherine the Great Martyr ChurchOn Sunday, November 23, 2008, following the Divine Liturgy at St. Catherine the Great Martyr Church, which was celebrated by parish Dean, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, together with the Treasurer of the Russian Orthodox Church Abroad, Archpriest Peter Holodny, who was visiting from New York and the parish clergy, Priests Vadim Leonov and Daniel Lugovoi, a Molieben of Thanksgiving was served with special petitions added for the health and long-life of the newly elected Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, His Beatitude, Metropolitan JONAH.

Prior to the start of the molieben, Archimandrite Zacchaeus addressed the faithful parishioners with words about the recent 15th All American Council held in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania and the process of electing a new Metropolitan which took place there. Likewise, Father Zacchaeus shared information about His Beatitude, Metropolitan Jonah and asked to faithful to fervently pray for his health and Primatial ministry during their daily prayers at home.
