OCA represented at Patriarchal Vespers on the Feast of the Nativity of Christ

MOSCOW, RUSSIA [OCA Communications]—On Monday, January 7, 2008, Archimandrite Zacchaeus, Representative of the Orthodox Church in America to the Moscow Patriarchate joined nearly 100 bishops, priests and deacons in concelebrating the festal Vespers for the feast of the Nativity of Christ with His Holiness, Patriarch Aleksy of Moscow and All Russia.

Following the service, His Eminence, Metropolitan Juvenaly of Krutitsk and Kolomna congratulated His Holiness on behalf of the Holy Synod of Bishops, the Clergy and Faithful of the Russian Orthodox Church and Representatives of Local Autocephalous Orthodox Churches. His Holiness, Patriarch ALEKSY then thanked the Metropolitan and offered words of congratulations to all assembled.
