SVS Site of Lecture by IOCC’s Alex Troubetzkoy

Mr. Alex Troubetzsky, international Church liaison for International Orthodox Christian Charities [IOCC], will deliver a lecture titled “Imperial Legend, Legendary Needs: Lessons from St. Petersburg” in the Metropolitan Philip Auditorium on the campus of Saint Vladimir Orthodox Theological Seminary here on Friday, October 24, 2003 at 7:30 p.m.

The son of Russian immigrants, Mr. Troubetzkoy grew up in Montreal, QC and has numerous personal, professional and scholarly connections to Russia. From 1995 until 1998, he served as IOCC’s representative for Russia. He also spent time in St. Petersburg, where he conducted research for his critically acclaimed book, “Imperial Legend: The Disappearance of Czar Alexander I,” published by Arcade Publishing in 2002.

The public is invited to the lecture, for which there is no admission fee.
