Third annual Orthodox Psychotherapist conference to be held in January 2008

The third international Orthodox psychotherapist conference will be held here January 2-5, 2008.

The theme of the conference will be “Psychotherapy: Servant of Sacred Tradition.”

Speakers will include the Very Rev. Stephen Plumlee, Sarasota, FL, a priest of the Orthodox Church in America; Dr. Ari Christofides, Chicago, IL; the Rev. David Gill, Nottingham, UK; Dr. Demetra Jaquet, Denver, CO; Dr. Frank Johnson, Northumberland, UK; Dr. Phillip Mamalakis, Boston, MA, Dr. Stephen Muse, Columbus, GA; Nun Katherine [Weston], Indianapolis, IN; and the Rev. Vasileios Thermos, Athens, Greece.

The conference will feature a variety of presentations, workshops, and panel discussions on topics ranging from American clincial pastoral education to training future clergu.
