Town Hall meeting schedule announced

As
stated previously, the Preconciliar Commission has set up a series of “Town Meetings” as Living Study Papers in preparation of the 15th All-American Council in November 2008.

“Time does not permit holding these Town meetings in every deanery and region, and our faithful are encouraged to attend the closest meeting in their area,” said His Grace, Bishop Nikon of Boston, New England, and the Albanian Archdiocese, Preconciliar Commission chair. “You won’t want to miss this opportunity to voice your opinion.”

The meetings are designed for the faithful to speak to the hierarchs and express their feelings in an atmosphere of openness and candor. Our hierarchs have been asked simply to hear the voice, pain, ideas and concerns of the faithful.

Questions to ask ourselves prior to the Town Meeting:

• What would success at the All-American Council and in the Church in general look like to you ?
• What would you want to see the OCA do in the next decade?
