Assembly of Bishops launches national study on parish life
The Assembly of Canonical Orthodox Bishops of the United States of America is launching a new study on Orthodox parish life in America.
The published results of the study will provide a comprehensive picture of Orthodox parishes in 21st century America. The study explores various areas, including the involvement of youth and young adults in Church life, use of social media, and parish programs.
The survey—which is to be completed by parish clergy—is anonymous. It does not ask for parish names or locations.
Clergy are invited to share their thoughts, suggestions and concerns by completing the questionnaire accessible here.
Questions or comments may be directed to the Assembly’s Research Coordinator, Alexei D. Krindatch, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
In recent years, the Assembly has conducted a variety of similar research studies on Orthodoxy in the US, the results of which may be found here.
