The faculties, trustees, staffs, and students of the Orthodox Church in America’s three seminaries—Saint Herman’s, Kodiak, AK; Saint Tikhon’s, South Canaan, PA; and Saint Vladimir’s, Yonkers, NY—will be the guests of His Beatitude, Metropolitan Tikhon and the members of the Chancery staff at the Chancery here at a celebration of the schools’ anniversaries on Saturday, September 28, 2013.

Clergy, faithful and friends from the region also are invited to attend.

Saint Tikhon’s and Saint Vladimir’s Seminaries are marking their 75th anniversaries this fall, while Saint Herman’s celebrated its 40th anniversary earlier this year.

“The day will be an occasion to gather informally, not only to mark each school’s accomplishments, but to bring together in worship and fellowship those destined to lead the Church in the decades to come,” said Archpriest Eric G. Tosi, OCA Secretary.

The celebration will begin with the Hierarchical Divine Liturgy in the walled garden—weather permitting—at 10:00 a.m.  A reception will follow.

Space is limited, so those planning to attend are asked to RSVP by sending an e-mail to Father Eric at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) or calling the Chancery at 516-922-0550, extension 129, before Monday, September 23.

“We look forward to welcoming everyone as our seminaries begin new chapters in their dedicated efforts to provide the finest theological education and formation to our Church’s future leaders,” Father Eric added.
