Clergy, wives invited to participate in June 30 webinar
An invitation has been extended to all clergy of the Orthodox Church in America and their wives to participate in a webinar, “What Does Marriage Have to do With Priestly Leadership?” at 2:30 p.m. Eastern on Friday, June 30, 2017.
Hosted—at no cost to participants—by the Center for Family Care of the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, this webinar is the most recent offering in a series of on-line presentations launched in November 2015 and designed to provide clergy families with resources to support their ministries.
“Each session is run live, permitting participants to engage in discussion with these dynamic speakers,” said Priest Nathan Preston, Administrator of the OCA’s Department of Pastoral Life. “Many sessions are also archived for later viewing by those unable to attend.”
The speaker for this webinar will be Deacon Michael Hyatt, CEO of Michael Hyatt and Company, an online leadership development company, and the author of New York Times best seller, Platform: Get Noticed in a Noisy World. A deacon for nearly three decades at Saint Ignatius Church, Franklin, TN, he is the former chairman and CEO of Thomas Nelson Publishers.
Registration for the webinar is available on-line.
