FOCA, 18th AAC commemorative book to be published
The Fellowship of Orthodox Christians in America [FOCA] will hold its 89th annual National Convention at the Hilton Hotel here July 18-20, 2015, in conjunction with the 18th All-American Council of the Orthodox Church in America [AAC], slated to begin on Monday July 20, 2015.
The FOCA is an official organization of the Orthodox Church in America, with a mission to proclaim, share and reveal our Orthodox Christian Faith through service, fellowship and example. It is a strong network that looks to promote unity among all Orthodox Christians.
This year’s convention, which will be hosted by the FOCA’s National Executive Board, marks the first time that both national events will be held together. The weekend affords Orthodox Christians from all over the country an opportunity to share in fellowship.
The FOCA invites all Orthodox Christians across North America to participate in the plenary sessions, discussions, and liturgical services. Attendees and guests will enjoy a variety of relaxing fellowship activities, including a golf tournament and the traditional banquet and dance. Ample time will be available to explore the many exciting venues that Atlanta has to offer through planned tours during the weekend.
A Commemorative Book is being put together to commemorate this historic gathering. The book will feature many greetings and articles that reflect the AAC’s theme, “How to Expand the Mission.” Advertisements and greetings are available for purchase, with half of all proceeds earmarked to benefit the Youth Program at the 18th AAC.
The official ad form is available for download. Ads are limited and will sell out fast. Reserve yours today!! Help support our youth so they can connect with old and new friends at this year’s historic event in Atlanta.
