FOCUS North America’s Youth Equipped to Serve Program [YES] will host its first Servant Leadership Conference at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, Phoenix, AZ May 25-28, 2018.

Since 2012, YES has conducted various leadership training programs to equip YES trip leaders.  The 2018 Servant Leadership Conference, however, will offer students an opportunity for personal exploration, foundational servant leadership development, and empowerment.  The program will bring together seniors in high school and college students to seek the Lord, to see their true selves and purposes together, and to feel strengthened and courageous to live the lives they have been uniquely called to live.

FOCUS North America — the “Fellowship of Orthodox Christians United to Serve” — is a national movement of Orthodox Christians united in faith and joined by a desire to provide action-oriented and sustainable solutions to poverty in communities across America.  FOCUS has operations and offers youth volunteer experiences in more than 50 cities in the USA.  As an expression of Christ’s love, FOCUS North America serves the hungry, the thirsty, the stranger, the naked, the sick and the imprisoned by providing food, occupation, clothing, understanding, and shelter.

Conference details and registration information are now available on the FOCUS website.

FOCUS also is accepting registrations for its Spring 2018 trips to minister to the needy in Jacksonville, FL; Los Angeles, CA; Dallas, TX; Portland, OR; and Memphis, TN.  For further information on the trips and conference, please contact Katrina Bitar, YES Program Director, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address).
