“I’m Sick of the Pandemic!” Clergy Webinar to be held December 3
“I’m Sick of the Pandemic!” is the title of a one-hour webinar and conversation for OCA clergy, on the Zoom platform, Thursday December 3, 2020 at 7:00pm, Eastern Time.
“Nine months into the pandemic, we’re all tired. Parish priests especially bear the brunt of fatigue, as they continue to deal with disrupted worship patterns and limited capability to respond to parish needs,” said Fr. Ian Pac-Urar, OCA director of the Department of Continuing Education. “This will be a quick chance to recharge our batteries as we head into a challenging Nativity season.”
Rev. Deacon Stephen Muse, Ph.D., will lead the webinar. Deacon Stephen is Senior Pastoral Psychotherapist at the Pastoral Institute, Columbus GA. His clients include clergy and lay leaders of all denominations. He is a deacon in the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese, and is well known for his many papers, articles and books as well as his compassionate yet challenging manner of presentation. His blog can be read at orthodoxcolumbus.org.
Registration deadline is Monday, November 30, 2020.
“I’m Sick of the Pandemic!” is presented by the OCA Department of Continuing Education and Polycarp House.
