Lenten Journey focus of new edition of “Wonder”

Our Lenten Journey” is the theme of the latest edition of “Wonder,” the Orthodox Church in America’s Young Adult Blog, available on ocawonder.com. Authors and contributors reflect on the Lenten spiritual disciplines and the end goal of the ascetical effort.

Articles include “Lessons in Love” by Rebekah Moll, who focuses on the loving unity provided by the Church during Lent; “A New Approach to Fasting?” by Deacon Jason Ketz, who examines the theological questions surrounding fasting in the modern age.  Also featured are “Learning from the Prodigal and His Brother” by Richard Ajalat and “The Plea for Repentance” by Michael Soroka.

“Wonder,” an on-line publication of the OCA’s Department of Youth, Young Adult and Campus Ministry, provides thought-provoking articles geared toward young adults and college students and those who minister to them.

The next issue of “Wonder” will focus on vocation. Readers are invited to submit articles, creative writing and artwork, poetry, photos, and videos for future installments.
